Instrumentalist

Position Requirement: Musical proficiency in modern worship style with an instrument

Frequency: Minimum 1 weekend per month, available to fill-in as needed. [all service times]

Position Description: Play as part of the FBI Band in our weekend services and special events throughout the year.

Needed: drums, keys, electric guitar, bass

Vocalist

Position Requirement: Vocal proficiency in modern worship style with the ability to sing melody and harmony, and blend with a vocal team

Frequency: Minimum 1 weekend per month, available to fill-in as needed. [all service times]

Position Description: Sing as part of the FBI Band in our weekend services and special events throughout the year.

Camera Operator

Requirement: Adult or Student. No prior experience needed. Training available.

Frequency: Minimum 1 weekend per month, available to fill-in as needed. [all service times]

Description: Operate video cameras as we record services, and for our church to worship online. Take direction from the Live Stream Director.

Computer Presentation Operator

Requirement: Adult or Student. No prior experience needed. Training available. Familiarity with technology preferred.

Frequency: Minimum 1 weekend per month, available to fill-in as needed. [all service times]

Description: This position is responsible for operating the program used to display on-screen during services: song lyrics, promo graphics, sermon notes and verses, videos, etc. Prior experience with ProPresenter and/or Mac is a plus; training is required.

This position is not required to create the slides and graphics; only display them following the weekly service and production script provided.

Live Audio+Sound Tech

Requirement: Adult or Student. Prior experience preferred; familiarity with technology required. Training available.

Frequency: Minimum 1 weekend per month, available to fill-in as needed. [all service times]

Description: Have an ear for blending instruments and vocals. Perform on-the-fly troubleshooting as needed. Provide feedback to the Worship Leader and/or others on stage to help maximize the worship experience.

Live Stream Audio Tech

Requirement: Adult or Student. Prior experience preferred; familiarity with technology required. Training available.

Frequency: Minimum 1 weekend per month, available to fill-in as needed. [all service times]

Description: The Live Stream Audio Tech is responsible for sound mixing for a separate feed from the in-house audio. This position may also monitor the live stream feed on Facebook, and interact as needed (a script is provided). Coordinate with the Live Stream Director to ensure audio is working as expected, and troubleshoot and escalate as necessary.

Live Stream Director

Requirement: Adult or High School. Experience with video production preferred; familiarity with technology required. Training available.

Frequency: Minimum 1 weekend per month, available to fill-in as needed. [all service times]

Description: The Live Stream Director coordinates and produces live recordings and streaming of all Sunday services. Directs camera operators for optimal shot selections and framing; coordinates with Live Stream Audio Tech and Computer Presentation Operator to sync audio, video and graphics for presentation.

Media+Tech

Position Requirement: Adult or Student. No prior experience needed*. Training available. Familiarity with technology preferred.

Frequency: Minimum 1 weekend per month, available to fill-in as needed. [all service times]

Position Description: Media+Tech is currently made up of camera operators, in-house audio technicians, live-stream audio technicians, live stream directors, and computer presentation operators. Together we create an environment for our church to worship on campus as well as online.

Adult Bible Study Leaders

Requirement: Adult

Frequency: Sundays @ 10:45 or Weekdays TBD.

Description: Host community groups to build relationships, and advance God’s kingdom throughout our community. Be committed to God’s word, and express love for one another.

Confidence Team

Position Requirement: Adult. Advanced screening required for this team.

Frequency: Minimum 1 weekend per month; available to fill-in as needed. [all service times]

Position Description: Help keep FBI as safe as possible. Confidence Team patrols grounds during service, provides first response for safety-related situations.

Faithful Fixers

Position Requirement: Adult. Knowledge and skill for common and advanced home or auto maintenance and repair.

Frequency: On-call; as needed.

Position Description: FBI’s group of men and women who enjoy working with power tools and helping our church and community’s homebound and elderly with needed repairs.

Greeter or Door Host

Position Requirement: Must be available before, during and after a service. Have a heart for hospitality.

Frequency: Minimum 1 weekend per month; available to fill-in as needed.

Position Description: Guide people where they need to go. Greet people as they arrive and depart. Assist with seating.

Kitchen Crew

Position Requirement: Adult or Student

Frequency: Weekly on Wednesdays; available for special events, and fill-in as needed.

Position Description: Set-up, create and serve meals weekly. Keep kitchen clean and stocked. Have a heart for hospitality.

LIFEGroup Leaders

Requirement: Adult

Frequency: Weekly; Available as needed.

Description: Host community groups to build relationships, and advance God’s kingdom throughout our community. Be committed to God’s word, and express love for one another.

Medical Response Team

Requirement: Adult. Medical certification.

Frequency: Minimum 1 weekend per month, available to fill-in as needed. [all service times]

Description: Provides first response for medical situations as needed.

Parking Lot Team

Requirement: Adult

Frequency: Every other week for one service; fill-in as needed

Description: Help guests enter and exit the church campus with ease. Assist our guests to ensure safety in the parking lot areas. Problem-solve solutions if the parking lot becomes full.

Preschool Midweek Team

Requirements: Adult or Student (minimum 14)

Frequency: Bi-weekly or weekly 

Description: Help provide a safe and fun experience for our Babies-4 year olds

Sunday Morning Nursery Helper

Position Requirements: Adult or Student (minimum 14)

Frequency: Minimum of 1 time a month, available to fill-in as needed.

Description: Able to hold and care for the babies of our church. 

Sunday Morning Preschool Teachers & Helpers

(3 classes — Toddlers, 2 & 3-year-olds, 4 & 5-year-olds)

Requirements: Adult or Student (minimum 14)

Frequency: Minimum of 1 time a month, available to fill-in as needed.

Description: Teach and facilitate the activities that are designed and prepared each week for the class.

1st and 2nd Grade Teachers

Requirements: Adult or Student (minimum 14)

Frequency: Bi-weekly or weekly teachers and helpers during the 9:00 service.

Description: Teach and guide the 1^st and 2^nd grade students through the prepared lessons and activities. 

3rd and 4th Grade Teachers

Requirements: Adult or Student (minimum 14)

Frequency: Bi-weekly or weekly teachers and helpers during the 9:00 and 10:45 services

Description: Teach and guide the 3rd and 4th grade students through the prepared lessons and activities. 

Check-In

Position Requirement: Adult or Student

Frequency: Minimum 1 weekend per month; available to fill-in as needed.

Position Description: Greet families as they come to FBI each week. Assist as needed with check in. Welcome new families and escort them to small group classes.

Children’s Church Teachers and Helpers

Requirements: Adult or Student (minimum 14)

Frequency: Bi-weekly or weekly teachers and helpers during the 10:45 service.

Description: Teach and guide the Kindergartener-2nd grade students through the prepared lessons and activities. 

Elementary Midweek Team

Requirements: Adult or Student (minimum 14)

Frequency: Bi-weekly or weekly 

Description: Help with activities, music, Bible study, and games for Kindergarten-4th grade! 

Sunday Morning Kindergarten Teacher/Helper

Requirements: Adult or Student (minimum 14)

Frequency: Bi-weekly or weekly teachers and helpers for both 9:00 and 10:45 services

Description: Teach and guide the Kindergarteners through the prepared lessons and activities. 

SURF 5/6 Leaders

Position Requirement: Adult

Frequency: every other week on Sunday or Wednesday 

Position description: Lead weekly small group discussions, mentor preteens, and help create a fun, safe space where 5th and 6th graders can grow in their faith. Build relationships, encourage spiritual growth, and be a Christlike role model during a crucial stage in their lives.

Breakout Group Assistant

Position Requirement: Adult

Frequency: Weekly on Sundays and/or Wednesdays or on rotation basis; available for special events, and fill-in as needed.

Position Description: Help facilitate questions and discussions; disciple students in a fun environment.

Small+Large Event Help

Position Requirement: Adult

Frequency: As Student Ministry events are scheduled, and fill-in as needed.

Position Description: Set up / Tear down; Meal prep for special events; Day event chaperone; Activity leads and assistants
