As we continue our Simplify & Satisfy sermon series from the book of Ecclesiastes, we’re reminded that lasting joy doesn’t come from accumulating things, but from living with intention and generosity. Ecclesiastes invites us to release what’s temporary and embrace what truly satisfies—God’s purpose for our lives.
This is a wonderful time to simplify your surroundings and bless others in the process. Please consider donating gently used items to our ministry partner, Love INC of Brevard, and their thrift store. Your donations support families in need, provide affordable goods to our community, and help you declutter your home.
We’ve made it simple: please bring your items for donation with you to church on Sunday, August 31. If you’re traveling for the holiday weekend, bring your donations to the church before you leave on Wednesday evening (August 27) from 6-8p.
Take a moment to walk through your closets, garage, or storage spaces. What are you holding onto that someone else could use? That extra chair, those unused dishes, or the clothes you haven’t worn in years could become a gift to someone in need. Love INC accepts a wide range of household items, but please check the list of items they cannot take on the bottom of their web page to ensure your donation is helpful — https://loveincbrevard.com/
Let’s respond to the wisdom of Ecclesiastes by living more simply and giving more freely. Please join us in this effort to live lighter and love the Lord and our community deeper—simplify your life and satisfy your soul by giving with purpose.
